Fall/Winter 2019 collection, a multiform horizon open onto the world from 17/10 to 21/03

A name that comes from Ethiopia, “Caffa” is the Travel mug designed by Giulio Iacchetti for Alessi. An accessory that aligns perfectly with modern daily rituals. Indispensable for those who love to sip a hot or cold beverage outside the home, in the office, on the road or walking around the city. Its design perfectly meets the needs of life on-the-go: handy, practical, usable in common drink holders for cars and strollers, eco-friendly, cool.

The Espresso coffee maker “Moka”, designed by David Chipperfield, won over the public through an imaginative story represented at Mudec — Museo delle Culture — for its official debut during the latest Milan Design Week. The popularity of espresso coffee makers is growing and Alessi has expanded its range available to coffee lovers by introducing the 9-cup version with a bottom suitable for induction hobs and double filters to prepare the classic espresso or American filtered coffee.

The surface treatment of the “Texture & Colours” series, launched in 2018, is inspired by the ancient goldsmith technique of Etruscan granulation. Coatings in a warm shade of red and a full, deep black are applied to a further group of table accessories: the double wall bowls “Double” by Donato D’Urbino – Paolo Lomazzi and the rectangular tray “Moiré” by Marcel Wanders.
