“The Five Seasons” project, an original exploration of the world of home fragrances that opens a new chapter in the Alessi lexicon, is the brainchild of the versatile Marcel Wanders.

Five essences used to create a complete collection of home fragrancing objects. Four fragrances correspond to the seasons of the year and their characteristic smells, the fifth represents the season of transcendence, which Wanders associates with black, the deepest color, using it to dress all the respective products. The essences were created by Alessi with the advice of one of the most important perfume makers in Grasse, the French city known worldwide for the production of flowers and fragrances. Meticulous research allowed us to develop these five aromatic sensations for which Wanders chose equally evocative names: “Brrr” for the coldness of winter, “Ahhh” for the wonder of spring, “Hmm” for the abundance of summer, “Grrr” for the poetic gathering of autum and “Shhh” to enclose the mystery of transcendence.
“The Five Seasons” collection features a series of scented candles with porcelain container and laser-decorated wooden lid, a spray dispenser to spread the essences around the home, five porcelain diffusers and six mahogany wood elements, which reinterpret the classic sticks in an original way, and a lava stone diffuser.
The collection is completed with two objets-bijoux: “Smack“, an original candle holder/bottle top and “Bzzz” a bee-shaped candle snuffer.
