Murphy&Nye was founded in 1933 in Chicago, Illinois by Jim Murphy and Harry Nye Jr. A sailing company that over the years became an icon for the sailing world. Chosen as technical sponsor by several America’s Cup teams: 2000 Swiss Challenger, 2003 Le Defì France, 2007 Team Germany and Team China, as well as Emirates Team New Zealand in 2003 and 2007.
